Hello! The owner of the following forum: http://www.network54.com/Forum/209394/ has been MIA for years. She doesn't respond to emails or participate on the board. Is there anyway for someone else to assume the board without her input? Some of the users would like to be able to edit their posts. Delete spam etc. I understand that a new board could be made but then the history on that board would be lost. Thanks for any help!

There really should be a sticky for this as it seems to be a common problem lately. If the forum owner logs in to Network54 every 6 months or so, their forums are not considered abandoned. There are only three options if there are no moderators there.

1. Put up with the SPAM, trolls and other unwanted posts.
2. Wait for a breach of the terms of use and report it. This will result in the forum being shut down, however.
3. Stop going there.

It is a shame that some people have to ruin things for everyone, but that's just how it is.
