Can't remove spam posts...

I am trying to remove the spam posts that were posted to my friend's journal. I can't see them in the message editor to select them to remove. Is there anyway someone can remove these? They are the top 6 posts and all talk about synthroid or thyroxine.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Can't you just open the post and delete it directly?

No, when you open it, it doesn't even have a body of a message. It just says "no such message" and there is not a way to reply, edit or delete anything.

Try this then. Delete your browsing history, you have to close all open browser windows, then go back and see if the posts still show up.

Another thing you can try is to refresh the index page of the forum.

It sounds like your cache is corrupted and its showing an outdated version of the page.

If those posts are deleted and you have an old bookmark, the "No such message" will show up if you hit the link.

It happens on both my computer and hers and we are in different states. So I don't understand what is going on with it. Is there someone that could remove them?

They have actually been deleted. That is why you see the no such message. I don't know why they still show up on the index page.

There's probably a cached page that hasn't been cleared out properly. Usually, posting to the forum should refresh the page cache, and the posts that appear on the index will be removed. I'm also working on some new antispam scripts that should help clear out spam as it appears on Network54.

It didn't remove the posts, just changed their position. We still can't see them in the message editor page either! Is there someone that can remove these?

I tried to run a "fix forum threads" but was unsuccessful, so I requested a tech person to have a look. Sorry for this error.
