Response to DIfferent paint practice?

While rummaging through my Russian stuff, I found this nice shot of a deck-load of Type 2 Ka-Mi. They are identified as belonging to the "101st Special Naval Landing Unit" destined for Saipan. It's interesting that they do not have pontoons, so maybe the Saipan detachment never had them.
