Hi
I think i've finished my latest model. I used the "Mr Color for tanks" paints for a late camouflage scheme:

The model, which includes the two figures, was built straight from the box, I only had to add two lenses and a piece of wire for the Aerial:

Any comments are welcome.

Great Build

Looks great, I really like the figures as well. It makes me motivated to build mine. Are those the "rubber band" tracks or did that kit come with individual links?

Thank you Travis happy.gif

The figures are much better than the ones in the Fine Molds figure sets. My kit only had link and length tracks, there were no "rubber band" tracks included:

They went together without any problems. If you are interested, did a full blog at:

Very helpful

Thanks Mike, I will be sure to read the blog, before I start my build. I just realized I never unwrapped the plastic on the box, I just assumed it came with rubber band tracks like the Type-95 kit I have. Thanks again for posting your model. Travis

Nice build

I like it. What color did you use for the rusted pipes?

Thank you Jeff

Thank you Jeff,

The rusted pipes were painted with Vallejo German camouflage black brown, (the same colour can be mixed from Tamiya flat earth and black). I dusted the exhaust with MIG Standard Rust, lightly brushed it off and sprayed with Isopropyl Alcohol to fix it. I also used MIG Smoke for the exhaust stains.

Great job Mike. I was going to post photos of the Te-Ke I completed recently but not now. Please let me know in advance what you are working on and what you will post here so I can be sure not to have my work compared to yours.

Seriously, great job.

Pat

Well, it's against my better judgement but...

...here are a few shots:

There are a few more shots on my blog at:

This was a fun little kit. I really wish FM would start including more simple interiors like this one with the other kits they are reissuing. I think they really add to the overall composition of the kit. At least they are making the individual link tracks standard.

My biggest regret is that when I put the gear teeth in the turret ring traversing mechanism I did't wait until my research was complete. I found later that on the original vehicles the teeth pointed down and I made them point inward on this kit. Oh well.

Anyway, for what it's worth there it is.

Cheers.

PB

Hi Pat,

I think you are being too modest. That is beautiful!
