Best Model Shops in Kyoto

Hi,

A close friend is living in Kyoto for the next two years and will be my conduit to all the cool stuff that I can get in the USA...

Question 1: What are the best model shops in Kyoto?

Question 2: I love IJA Armor, but some of the best FineMolds kits are out of production...is there a source for these in Japan?

Thanks in advance,

Pat

Hi
Welcome to Kyoto.(Okoshiyasu)

I don't know it's best or not, but for oversea visitors, I recommend B's Hobby in Shijo, it's basement of Book Store Dan.

Recently, Joshin Kids Land is opened in Teramachi, but I don't go there yet.

For more CULT shop, there is Hobby Shop ELK in Katsura, suburban Kyoto, but I don't recommend it for oversea tourists, because you will be lost there!

If you have enough time to go to Osaka, I recommend Hobby Land and Joshin Super Kids Land.

Some FineMold kits are there, but I don't know whether old kits are there.

Best regard

Katsuhisa Shimizu
