I'm beginning to despair that I'll ever get this one fixed. I've already ruined another movement from my bits box, and spent too much money on a watch I knew had the right movement (in a batch of others) on eBay, only to find that it was the only movement I couldn't get to run when they were delivered.
I may well just quietly file it away and re-visit it in the future.
