My P. vitifolia flower and fruit that's growing inside. I'm surprised that it's doing so well.

Our greenhouses early in the growing season. There's 3 pics but only 2 houses. Two of the photos are both sides of one GH. The larger one is heated in the winter, the other isn't and is used as kind of a cold frame. I only use them for my plant collection in the winter. That's a friend in the pics.

Some Xmas flowers, greens & plants

December 6 2006, 12:24 PM

I thought that some of you might like to see what's inside my husband's warehouse this time of year. I can't get everything in the pics. It's almost overwhelming when you are there. There's another warehouse with plants that are all still sleeved and another huge cooler filled with more boxed cut flowers and wreaths.

Late fall blooms

December 19 2006, 9:54 PM

Here's some iochromas that are blooming again. A couple pics are terribly blurry but you can see the colors.

This is my Queen's Tears that I'd all but forgotten until I saw some pink spikes popping up. This is the first time it has bloomed and there's 5 spikes. The plants that have bloomed will eventually die (like a banana) but there's lots of side shoots coming up for next year.

My red mandevilla started blooming again but the color is kind of weird. i guess that's because it's inside.

I found some old plumeria seeds and was surprised that they germinated. Too bad I'll be waiting at least 2 years before I know what color they'll be.

These have all started blooming within the past week or so. There's an oncidium, Nun's orchid, epidendrum, miltonias and a phalenopsis.

Spring 07 flowers

May 18 2007, 1:23 AM

I took pics of some flowers in the garden today. We finally had rain after almost 2 months of no measurable precipitation and everything just burst with color. My Scotch Broom got knocked over in the storm but it didn't break. I have to stake it back up. There's also a couple houseplants that are in bloom. The strange marks on the orchid foliage are from my cats.

More flowers from my garden

Eventually I'll figure out how to label my pics but the only way I know how to do that now would be to c/p one at a time. If you want to know what a particular one is just ask me. I hope you enjoy them.

The last blooms of the season

November 8 2007, 11:32 PM

This is what was blooming when I had to take them in. Most are still blooming inside but the colors just don't have the same vibrancy as they do when they are outside. I messed up and some pics are doubles. Sorry about that but at least I did label them. lol

Clerodendrum watsonii

staplia

Philippine violet

P. Crimson Tears

Cape Honeysuckle

Bromiliad

Candy Corn vine
