I live in a city of 600,000. It takes 45 minutes to drive across town. The hiss of tires on pavement goes on all day, all night.
Tragedies happen and the city goes on without noticing. For all the faces it is a lonely place.
I want to come to Ida Grove and hear the "zizzer bugs" in late August. Maybe sit at a fast food place and have people stare at me and wonder "why is he here?".
