Response to Pan-American Comp

Haven't heard much on english speaking forums about South American airgunning. A friend just flew from Phoenix to Curacao to skin dive,  via Caracas, Venezuela last week. He said the tickets were $650 each round trip and an 18 hour flight with layovers. Heck, he could have flown to OZ for the time it took. What are tickets to SA for the worlds going for, anyone?
