Ray, I would disagree as well, that PFT should be shot totally standing

and to say that ones opinion should not count unless they show up to the nationals, is well... I won't got there..
I notice that the only nationals you missed was the one on the west coast in 2005.. why was that?
PFT should be shot just like open class rifle in my opinion. Hanging tanks in the lap are fine, knee stands all that stuff.. it's open class. Have another class for open sights off hand if you want, but PFT should be like the rifle seems to me:-) We allow all sorts of gadgets and supports for rifle, why not pistol too? We already have a standing offhand game, we played that and the sitting PFT last year at the nationals..
