Response to hi bill - i think you left off the "L" at the end of the link
but it sure has cooled off since the sun went down. My copy technique was a little rusty!
I was surprised to learn they only shoot out to a max of 45 yards. and they use three different size kill zones 9/16, 1 3/32, and 1 3/4 inches respectively. They score two points when they drop a target and one point for a face hit. They typically have 200 shooters at each event. They don't range find but can use about any scope they want as long as they don't touch it during the match. It also seems they can use terrain features as support but don't appear to use bipods or stools for that matter. Don't think they use bum bags either but they do use offhand supported and unsupported positions, and kneeling supported and unsupported positions. and a fair amout of prone shots. I think I like our rules better! It appears they started their hunter game around 2003 over there.
