I have a 4x40 and it has amazing glass and will focus to 10 feet...yes feet. They appear to be Hakko's (now defunct but under new management). You could shoot cmo a email and ask if they have any laying around. They have not updated there web page in several years. You should also look into Sightron. Here is a dealer that list their airgun scopes. Not a 12x but a 4.5-12x40 and available with the hunter reticle. Plus they are fairly short. The Simmons 44 mag with mildot would also be a good choice if you can find one.
