I am going to set the course up using the 2011 rules as a guideline. We will only have 10 lanes with 2 or possibly 3 targets per lane. It won't be a 100% true WFTF match, but I will try to cover most of it according to KZ size, distances, 1 shot per target and time limits. We can run through it 2 to 4 times, depending on time. It is not going to be an easy shoot at all, definitely going to push the limits with my setup. Ray and Hans requested a little more practice for the Worlds, and I'll do my best to oblige.
As far as unlimited goes, I'm still in the mindset (instilled on me from our former Match director) that whoever shows up with whatever can shoot, as long as I don't have to buy new targets due to damage. I will always make a class if I need to. And, no we don't get any we can't fit into an AAFTA class, but the option is there. The majority of shooters we get locally are just there to shoot, have fun and most likely will never travel.
Still waiting for some more new recruits to show up from our time at the local gun shows, but the weather hasn't been cooperating.
