I love my FT club. I have brought a number of new people to my club to shoot FT. I don't want to change it much... BUT, If I wanted to start a FT club for my new friends, what if FT allowed the following... 1. Authorize Cheap, inexpensive, larger. standardized targets as part of the rules of a match. Example: Make the standard target at 10m an m&m. 2. Authorize an limit on FPE for a novice class. Say 7fpe or less. Lower FPE means less expensive air rifles, usually anyways. 3. Make it so a match can easily be held in a larger urban city. eg a rented gymnasium, a parking lot, etc... 4. Make the entry class about mastering the basic shooting positions. Offhand, Kneeling, Prone. No sticks. No Seats. What do you think??
