i've had one laying around for 6 months, and it hasn't done a bit of good, so i stuck it onto the barrel of my ed-gun (that's the R9 i got from ed canoles).
it actually improved the groups, and it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference where i put it. the mfr. says that on powderburners, it seems to make a difference, but the R-9 doesn't seem to care. brings me under an inch at 50 yards, hunter style, but to maintain consistency, i'm gonna have to open up my scope and put some tape on the reticle. it won't hold still.
anyway, the thing cost all of ten bucks, and is a big scientifically (?) designed glob of rubber. you might achieve the same thing with a 4oz piece of duct-seal. or not.
