| I left for home from the GOB. Took me 23 hours to drive 1300 miles down and 36 hours to get home. Darn GPS rerouted me a different way home for the second time. Got into a big delay in Kentucky on 65 North that started things off the night construction every where from New York home. Must say it was a great shoot and Rozz, Robert, Cliff, and their gang pulled off another great event. Very sorry to learn the GOB will only be a one day event going forward but I certainly can appreciate The 12 years Rozz and the boys have devoted to this event and wish I had been there for all of them. Will be very hard for me to justify traveling that far for 60 shots but I wouldn't rule it absolutely out. My hat also goes off to our Grand Senior George Hamilton! I admire your sprit and dedication to the airgun community. Hope to see you at more events in the future. Congratulations to Harold and David for their great performance and the shootoff to break their tie for first place was the best I have ever witnessed. How you guys can knock down a 3/8" kill at 40+ yards in the wind blows my mind. Not to mention doing it multiple times. I hope someone video taped that shoot off because it will go down in my mind as the best "Shoot Off" I will ever see. I am not sure I believe what you guys did. Big High five for Ron B for his awesome display of talent in WFTF Springer. Your score Saturday may of been the best 12lb springer Evah! Ken Hughes seems to star in any class he shoots and Ron Robinson Hunter scores were the best for a two day event that I have ever seen or heard of. Privileged to shoot with Ron on Sunday and I must say you gave me a good lesson. Hope we can do it again sometime! Also want to give a special Thanks to Sandra and Martin for being there all weekend and helping and supporting our game. May the Lord bless you all. |
