As most of you know, the Bluegrass Airgun started life here on the farm, more than 20 years ago. About 2000 we moved to the Bluegrass Sportsmens for a number of reasons - especially the wooded venue. We expected a lot of club support but the same 3-4 guys still ended up doing all the work - and had to drive 2 1/2hrs. for the privilege.
This year we will go back to the old venue here at the farm. It will likely take place in October before or after the Keenland schedule. This will be our regular "fun" shoot with challenging targets and lots of good food freshly grilled by David Tucker.
There will probably be three courses - with two 30 shot courses on Saturday - and 40 shots on Sunday.
Would like to see all you old shooters from the inception of FT - so if you know someone you can drag along - please do so.
We also would like to have a Youth Division (10-16) to get the next generation involved. So get that kid off the couch and into a FT rifle!
If you have any fun practice targets or unusual FTs (no school buses, please), bring them along.
Come and see us for some old fashioned FT fun in KY. Steve |
