I really admire someone who has a vision and follows it through to fruition. There is a lot of pride in doing a job and creating something that you enjoy.
I remember back to 2010 when I did my first stock. It took a lot of time initially, but the results were well worthwhile. Believe it or not, I still have that very first stock and gun! I made a number of stocks since and sold all but three. Those blanks are still in my closet and kept hidden from my wife. She has a bad habit of housecleaning.
Anyway, here is the link to the first stock that I made;http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/message/1281300667/My+first+custom+Marauder+stock+project-Picture+heavy
The process looks sorta familiar, doesn't it. Brings a smile to your face when you know you made something with your own two hands that others can look at and admire.
Job well done!
