Response to I want one too.........
Bob, It is true you have always been advocating for 16x scopes but ...... truth is the Brits feel that at least 24x is needed for accurate rangefinding out to WFTF maximum yardage. So would 16X satisfy everyone? I doubt it but would be better than 12X! Bracketing certainly can work for anyone including Open and WFTF if match directors would cooperate when they set up a course. The steadier one can hold the more success they will have at bracketing. Regardless if one knows the distance or not they still have to knock the target down to score. Environmental conditions can effect ones score just as much as not having a good number. Top scores only really become significant when there is money or prizes at stake. The open class should always have the best advantage for this honor but ..... the WFTF shooters have proven that shooting 20 ft/lbs with all the extras gear will only go so far. Most of the time it doesn't really matter. We all are only competing against shooters with like equipment in our class. It is what it is ... I honestly don't care anymore.
