And I agree with what you are thinking.
When we critique our own set up at each target lane, we try to scrunch into as low or high or awkward a position as possible to see if there is something in the way that could obscure a target. Last year's pit locations caused some concerns which we went out of our way to correct after we became aware of it. Like I said, we do our best to make sure that there are no concerns, but every now and again, something creeps up that we may miss, but it is extremely rare if and when it does.
Yeah, I almost had a heart attack earlier in the season when we got word that the entire area that we use was going to be closed. It took a LOT of jumping through hoops to get to the right people, the exact location, and to verify what was being done, where it was being done, when it was being done, and for how long it was being done. We are able to use part of, but not all of the area we have used in the past. We will change some things for this year, but it will still be interesting.
Thank you for clarifying your ideas. I wasn't quite sure where you were going with your line of questioning. Either way, you will have a good time. The more little things we can get out of the way well in advance, the more chance that I will have a good time as well. If it ever becomes more like a job, with folks jumping down my throat, that's when I will hang up my guns and go play shuffleboard down at the senior center.
