Where we disagree is in the when.
If we wait for the egg to hatch we might discover we got a crocodile and not a chicken.
We need to establish a "place" for beginners that is ALL INCLUSIVE.
THEN more people would try and, possibly stay for the 3 matches that seem to be the threshold of swallowing bait hook and sinker.
I do think this is independent of the current Divisions and Classes (to use the AAFTA Handbook wording).
We're going to do a pressing tomorrow at one of the largest corporations in the area. As part of their "extra-curricular" activities and life-work balance ideas.
We'll invite them to shoot on Sunday with us at DIFTA, but without a beginners "level/section/branch" (you just cannot call it Class or Division because AAFTA already used those for other things), I have no high hopes of a strong result.
We'll see. But I do think we have a Chicken/Egg situation.
Keep well and shoot straight!
