I Had been trying to shoot FT after having 2 back surgeries and was miserable. The FT position , even with a harness, was difficult at best. I took it one step further and bought a Steyr because of it's endless adjust-ability. It helped but not enough.
One week before the New York State Championship match I set up my HW 100, got a bucket and a bipod and had blast shooting HFT. Hunter was the way to go for me.
I still had the Steyr and decided to use this for HFT.
I ordered a stock from GIN B and it arrived this morning. Just mounted it and the way it fits the action is amazing a real quality product. It is also very adjustable.

Same happened to me!

December 13 2010, 6:52 PM

Joe, I to had back surgery, Spinal Stenosis, herniated disc, etc. Was hoping to do FT, since golf was out
of the question. But same thing happened to me. I didn't have the rite equipment.Knee pads will help when
you change lanes. You can pivot and put your whole weight on the pad and push up when getting up.Another
problem for me was my knee risers weren't high enough, and I couldn't bring the rifle or scope to eye level.
Higher knee risers would work. Anyway, like you said, there's HFT. Great, comfortable, fun, sport.
The bucket brigade!!! I'm still trying to get the ranges finding rite. But having a great time.I'm new at this
but I want to pass off advice that I got and things thats I tryed and worked for me.By the way, I still didn't
give up on FT,I lost some weight and working out, naturally with light weight and tread mill etc. And i'm more
flexible for it.By the way, nice, really nice rig.
