Sabah is probably fortunate to have many repeaters around but some of them are starting to be non-functional and some hardly used.
Perhaps with the selection of the State as the venue for the Yr 2001 Seanet convention, we can put our act together to streamline the installation of repeaters in the STATE so that there is no duplication and wastage both in energy, equipment and funds use.
The 2M band plan is suggested to combine effort in the state to provide repeaters for all major towns (with HAM Operators) between the 2 existing club. Very simply, where there is a repeater set up by one club, the other club should not set up another and vise versa.
This issue will be brought up in the next BODM. BOD Members plse give it a thought.
