Brandon had been on his way to the Carnival when he'd heard raised voices, his sensitive hearing picked out Doom's voice and then Gunther's. Doom's voice was angry and disgusted, Brandon transformed suddenly and almost without warning, his anger overtaking all other emotions and his desire to protect Doom at all costs pushed him on.
He crashed wildly through the wooded area outside the carnival, leapt over the wall and ran as fast as he could toward the source of the commotion. He could see Gunther's outline through the side of one of the tents and he leapt through it landing right on top of Gunther, his claws ripping into Gunthers shoulders and pinning him to the floor where he now lay motionless and frightened.
Doom walked up calmly and placed a hand on Brandons back, he looked backwards and could see she was fine and completely safe. He transformed back into his human form but not before getting close enough to Gunther's face to utter a skin crawing, gutteral growl. Brandon stood up, he was now naked, sweat glistened across his body and he turned to Doom.
"Are you okay?"
Doom nodded and then grinned.
"Let me deal with this slimy Euro trash, I don't think he'll come back here in a hurry."
Brandon headed for Doom's place, part of him knew exactly what she had in mind but another part refused to let his mind dwell too heavily on it, after all, he killed when the mood took him didn't he? Why should he judge Doom when she was simply surendering to her nature, GUnther should know better than to meddle in things he had no business meddling in at all.
He found a towel and wrapped it round his waist, stepped into the shower and surrendered to the warm jets of water trickling down his back. Ten minutes later he heard Doom arrive, he fininshed up in the shower, wrapped the towel back round his waist and called out to her.
"Everything okay?"
Doom wandered in, a small amount of blood was spattered up the side of her face but rather than be repulsed by it, Brandon was turned on by it. He walked right up to her and licked it right off the side of her face and smiled...
