Charon had been watching the ridiculous statements on a backstage monitor with her arms folded, she'd chuckled several times at the insane rantings of Alexis and then at the blustering form of John Baine. It wasn't like she was THAT difficult to find really but obviously there must be a stupid epidemic sweeping the halls of Creature Wrestling. She walked away from the monitor toward where Josh was doing his interviews and stood there, Josh swallowed hard and tapped Alexis on the shoulder. Alexis swung round, angry that Josh had dared touch her but then she stopped as she saw Charon standing there grinning. She flew at her, Charon sidestepped and gave her a hard push in the middle of her back as she went past, sending her sprawling on the hard floor. The resulting crash made John Baine turn and look, he frowned as Charon stared at him still smiling and Josh sidled slowly out of harms way. Charon gestured at John to put the phone down.
"I really am not that hard to find, if you have a problem with me, come and say so. I have a locker room, I have a cell phone number, good god I even have a home number and I've lived in the same house for years! Everyone else seems able to find me when they need to. Did you two take stupid pills or something?"
She moved into a position where she could see both Alexis and John Baine.
"Honestly, Alexis, I think you need to go and see a shrink. Jack has really screwed your head up, no wonder Jake was mad and thought he had computer chips in his head. Insanity obviously runs in your family. I hate to burst your bubble but no one has actually invented time travel yet or is that just another government conspiracy as well? You certainly aren't my daughter because if you were Mortismere and Sincentius would have been hounding you for years."
She then looked at John.
"You waltz in here thinking that you can run over every established star on your way to the top and then get all pissy because you get your ass handed to you on a plate by veteren wrestlers who've been lacing up their boots longer than you've even been alive? You really are as stupid as you look and conceited to boot. You and Caleb need to accept that there will be losses along the way and stop blaming everyone else for your mistakes. Your in the big boys playground now, its time to grow up and let your testicles drop."
Baine looked as though he was near to breaking point and was about to start when Charon held up her hand to stop him.
"Don't even start with me sunshine. Shoving a couple of sai blades through the back of Calebs hands was just the warm up act and I suggest you don't keep pushing me or Darkspade unless yoou really want to see what the afterlife looks like. Its not as pleasant as you might think."
She glared at him and then at Alexis.
"Now, I suggest you two pack up your shit for the night and go home. Get some sleep, get pissed, do whatever you have to do but get the stupid out of your system because it won't be tolerated forever. Remember, be careful what you wish for because one day it might come up and slit your fucking throat for you."
There was something nasty intoned in the last statement, inferring that the two might just end up getting themselves killed if they weren't more careful. Charon glared at both of them and then swept off down the corridor leaving Josh shaking, Alexis breathing heavily on the floor and Baine raging round smashing his fists into everything he could find.
