Reading from file

Hi,
Crystal can use file instead of using the database.
For example, we need insert data about logging information like, at what time he logged in, how many times he logged in, how many sites he used etc, these information we will store it in a file using log4j. I need to show report based on the data in the file.

Will crystal report read the file and show the report??.

Regards,
Sasikumar.S

I would have to try this out before answering to this question.

Though I do have an alternate to suggest.I would probably try exporting the data from a log file ,which is basically a text file to say,Excel/Access  and,one can easily use Crystal Reports to access data source, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel.
