Let us take a moment now to reflect how underrated
Mr. Roper was. Norman Fell was truly a legend.
He was blessed with a tremendous amount of
natural talent, that so many actors strive for.
For instance, Mrs. Roper would ask him to go to
bed, and he would make some wise-crack, and then
look into the camera and smile. That special look he gave the viewing audience let US know that he was on OUR side.
