I believe that the footage we saw may not even have been in response to the WTC attack. Since they are in a civil war, it could just have been that her nephew got home ok, right? I mean we just don't know.
I think it was irresponsible to present it as such during the footage yesterday as I am sure millions of Americans had the first response that I did.
I am not an hysterical person. I know we will prevail, it is just that the initial attack was so profoundly devastating. I know people with loved ones who are gone, or hurt. I know people who were in danger or close enough to the danger that we were uninformed of their safety for quite a while. I am waiting for a person very dear to me to arrive home.
I just don't know what should be done at this point....
