Wanting to share something special

We had t on thursday (as usual) and while ther a part that I have known of for a little while came forward to ask the t for help.

This 11yr old, Milly, use to clean house when we were younger to keep busy so "he" would leave us alone. Milly came to ask the t to get me, to let her, help clean. Now we all need a little help but I had been telling Milly that it was my job not hers! Anyway we have reached a compromise, so Milly is happier.

What was so special was that the t was getting Milly to talk about what else she might do and she had know idea and couldn't even say if she could read or not. So our t got a book out and sure enough Milly can read, real slow and with a great deal of effort but she can. So our t has lent Milly the book to practice with. Isn't that so sweet.

That simple act of lending Milly the book to practice with has meant so much to us, that she would think to do that for us.

Terry,
who had to tell someone how touched she was by the kindness shown to her Milly.
