So far so good on the holiday plans ......talking here has helped.
Went and saw Mum today, she wasn't talking to me last week....well, she was but in a very terse tight lipped way!! She started in, just a little, on how shes not looking forward to Chrissy etc (what I was hearing was it's all my fault) I decided not to buy into her conversation and basically ignored what she said and moved onto other topics. I figure it wasn't worth it, she can make me feel guilty and a terrible daughter in an instant and hence manipulate me into doing what she wants. This time she didn't get anywhere. I probably make her sound like a dragon...she's not, just a very self centered person.
I'm feeling stronger about what I want and will probably talk to my sister this week to make a few simple plans for the day.
