If everyone has problems, then why can't we work like normal people when we are used to our problems?
The fibro isn't quite as bothersome these days because we take meds (Bextra, triamterene, Darvocet and Skelaxin) every day to help. We did work last Friday for the first day and we did come home all swollen up though. I guess it would be hard to work every day in a row without a day inbetween to take care of the swelling...like keeping our legs elevated. Today I tried to go in again and there was no one there to let me in and that upset me. Now we are in pain.
I would like to work in a book store though like Shelia because I love books so much and I'd especially like to work in the children's section. I guess I don't know where all the book stores are around here, so it may be hard to find a job...but I could try. And then, I worry that you have to be able to lift boxes of heavy books. hmmmm... But an office job would be good. We could sit down during the day at least. I don't type as fast as you though and that may be a problem. but, with more practice... And lots of people work slower on the puters than we do.
And you know what's silly? We'd have to interview as Mary and then have them call us Hope. When we tell other people that it's a nickname...cuz how else can we explain it... then they think it's a religious thing. It's not, it's mine and hopey...'s name. It's really bothering us and we'd like riley...to take back over and be called riley...again. Another long story.
I guess all we can do is to try and work at the office. It's a long drive and we are making a committment even if people aren't there to take our committment seriously.
I don't want to lose hope that someday we can be able to work again. And, we need the money badly. Our money is taken up every month with rent and other neccessities of life and we'd just like money of our own.
