It is true that you cannot heal from abuse while it is still happening. Still, I know how hard it can be to leave. I certainly encourage all women to do what is best for them, and what will keep them and their children safest. I will support you in whatever decision you make, but hope it is the one that will be the most healing. You DO deserve to heal.
