Teenagers :-)

My daughter is 15, and my boys are 13 and 18. No offense to any 13-year-old boys who might be reading here, or mothers of 13-year-old boys, but they can be quite a handful! Mine has spend a lot of energy teasing his sister, and I have spent a lot of energy trying to keep them from sniping at each other

This week has been so wonderful, and encourages me that this is a stage and they are growing out of it. The three of them spent two days making all kinds of exotic candles together. Here is the amazing part - with no arguing!

Of course the older boy is always steady and reliable and kind. But all three of them were focused on the job, sharing tips and creative ideas and encouraging and complimenting each other. And they made some fabulous looking pieces of art, too.

Now my kitchen floor is covered in a rainbow of wax drips but that is a small price to pay for love and harmony in a family.

So if you are struggling with teenagers, be encouraged! They do grow out of that stage!
