I understand the mindset you are referring to. Sometimes I have to remind people that being a born-again Christian and, for that matter, falling down in the spirit, has not made me into a good cook. It is not going to make everything else in our lives perfect either.
What you really have to watch out for, if you are multiple, is an almost total lack of understanding of multiplicity. When this is combined with a partial understanding of spiritual warfare, it can lead to a very unhappy misunderstanding of the other people with you.
It is possible to find a balance, but the only church I know of that understands ritual abuse, multiplicity, and spiritual warfare is in Colorado. I know nothing about churches in England. I suspect that if a church like you are searching for exists, it is going to be small and hard to find. I hope you don't give up, though, because I think it would be great if you could find a church like that.
