I wrote you a long response to this, and the power went out to my whole building. "I paid the electric bill last week," I thought, panicking. I sent my daughter down to the laundry room to see if it was the whole building or just us. Whew, not just us. Not my fault. But I thought it was going to be a 2-hour Rolling Blackout (you may have heard that So Cal has power shortages) so I was bummed. It came back on soon, but my note to you is lost in cyberland. So I will just say this much.
Your writing is like chocolate. Please give me more.
Sorry the wonderful hugger is not still around. Your description reminded me of a special person from a hard time in my life. I hope, with you, that it all works out however you hope it works out.

Your troops might not always be the same, like my kids were such darling babies and now they don't exactly burble and coo anymore, but this is a great time for them too. I hope the changes y'all go through are all for the better, and I hope you can always remember the sweet moments of the present and the past.
Take care,
Maggie
