busy as ever and loving it.

I hope you are feeling better, kiddo. No more hospital visits, I hope. We have three grandkids from daughter Sandy. Sam is 9 Sophie is 5 and Simon is 2. Daughter, Kari Cheyenne has 3 year old, Evvy and baby Arwen Joy is due to arrive any day now. Then, Rick has little Ricky who is just learning to say Mamamamamamam. (Grin)

Rick is flying in from Okinawa on Sunday so we will get to see him for a day. He will be attending some confrences in San Diego and that's just a couple hours away. He goes back to Okinawa on the 11th. We are hoping that Kari's baby arrives while he is here, but if not, he will still get to hug her and see how big she is.

And... I made a suggestion awhile back and just found out that our home church is going to be hiring my daughter, Sandy, to take my place as Director of Children's ministry. That means the family will now be going to church with us on Sundays. They have been working at another church about 60 miles away since they moved back from Washington but the drive up and down the hill every weekend was getting to be a bit too much so this is great news for all of us. Both Kari and I already work at the church and since Rick left to go into the Navy, his office has been sitting empty. Sandy will now be moving into his old office on Monday. Yay!

I love working with my kids.

How is your dad doing, Auld Yin? Is there any way he can get connected to 'Skype' so you can chat with him face to face using your computer? It sure makes the distance seem much less that it really is. Is he doing well?

The weather is hot here. We are seeing triple digits this week so I keep the house as cool as possible. I like the cold much better than I do the heat.

Sophie is coming over to spend the night with us on Friday so I gotta stock up on the Oatmeal. She loves that stuff and has asked to have it for breakfast on Saturday.

Take care
Cheers
