It's been a very difficult last few years for us. I lost my dear Dad in November, 2007, spent some time with my Mom in 2008 and one morning, found her passed out on the floor in her bedroom. Massive internal bleeding. If I wasn't there, she'd've died without ever getting to a phone for help.
Shortly after that, we found my husband had cancer, by the time it was found, it was already in stage four. They began massive radiation and chemo and he had surgery in July, '08. He made it through all that and is doing well now.
My baby sister lost her husband of 26 years to cancer last October.
And now, I am facing exploratory surgery to try and discover just what is wrong with me. Tests are inconclusive and that's no good.
