Came back and glad I did. I'm going to talk "posh" now cos I presume the person I was mistaken for talked the way I did last night. My apologies to you if what I said about the pipe bombs was taken the wrong way. I wasnt trying to start an argument, just wanted to state that it could be an American. My hamfisted way didnt work did it!
Anyway, I'm from Glasgow but lived in Banknock for years. Bought one of those Wimpey houses. Folk thought we were loaded but after paying for one of those boxes, we were skint!
Worked in Re-Chem, remember them? They had a lot of law suits made from parents of babies born with eye defects. I was pregnant when I worked there and my oldest was born with an eye defect but I didnt know about the claims until years later and was told its too late to claim. Now I'm hearing that a farmers claiming for his cows!! I ask you, a cow!!!!
Oh the memories are coming back now. Mind Greens the hairdressers? I went there once for my first perm. Came out looking like I had stuck my fingers in the socket! And they charged a fortune too. Been cheaper just sticking my fingers in the socket!!
Then it was into the Wimpey for a hamburger and chips. I even went to Falkirk to get my engagement ring at Samsons (is that the right name??) the jewlers, then into Pizza hut!
Ok I've rambled on a bit here! Sorry again to all the people who welcomed me, I was just a bit shocked when I read all those messages for me this morning. |
