“La munición del calibre 5,56 (estándar OTAN) suele estar diseñada de modo que las balas viajen en el límite de estabilidad. Esto significa que la bala viaja de punta para aumentar su alcance, pero en el momento que choca con algo (como por ejemplo un enemigo) gira sobre sí misma, tomando trayectorias que no son rectilíneas y provocando mayor daño al desplazarse de lado y partirse.”

I don't buy that. I looked that up myself and the 5.56 round has a reputation for needing multiple rounds fired to take down an enemy. Here is one post on the subject.
"Don't forget Michael Yon's account of LTC Kurilla's wounding in Iraq. If I recall correctly, another soldier fired four 5.56mm rounds point blank into an enemy, and then had to take him down hand-to-hand. "
