Does anyone know how the seedings work,when very few of the players play against each other at all,save the players from each country playing in regular "national" tournaments????

The seedings are carried out using ESF rankings. Any player who has no ESF ranking has to be slotted into the seedings where the organiser thinks appropriate. This then means the seedings can move downwards as they are slotted in. Many Pakistani and Eyptian players have to be slotted in.
