NO CHEAP STROKES?

Whatever happened to the no cheap strokes concept?? And also I've seen so many games this year (mainly boys) where there are way to many let and strokes and not enough willingness to play the ball.

If the ball is there to be hit it should be played. Stroke 'hunting' is a thing of the past and minimal interference does now not even justify a let. If more 'no lets' are given by referees in situations where the players are looking for marginal strokes, players will not ask, but will instead play the ball which will lead to a more flowing game with points being more fairly earned.
Any comments??
