Ah but that's the point isn't it, he WILL grow and therfore improve automatically in the long run. It doesn't really matter who is the best at U13 U15 etc as sometimes a kid will be the best because he is so big and strong and not always because he is the best player.
It is much better to be good and small rather than good and big as a young junior as you have to learn to play with guile.
Watch out for anyone who is coming through, like Tom and others I can think of, who is SMALL and good even if they lose to big strong kids.
I agree that Waller and Wardle are going great.
Others to really watch Phillip Bull.He got a game off Waller in the closed and is improving.
Also Ollie Holland is streets ahead for his age
as you started the forum sammy i think you mean u17. I think you will do really well this year and win the u17 closed title next year easily. Your improvment in the last few months has been nothing more than fantastic. All the talk on this forum has never mention you but after the end of june next year i dont see anybody getting anywhere near you in the u17's. What do others think.
U13 Boys is much more difficult for next year as I have yet to see any obviously outstanding talent.
I would look at possibly Josh Masters (as Kent appear to have a number of the better younger players who will have been progressing together) and Brian Harvey who appears to be keen.
In fact the U13 Girls looks to have more potential talent with some very energetic younger players starting to get involved.
The U13 boys is interesting and I agree Josh Masters is going to be hard to beat.
Brian Harvey will be ok but the one to watch along with Josh is Hamish Falconer who is doing really well. He beat Brian easily at Pontefract and he is younger than Masters and Harvey.
