these tournaments are seeded straight off of the ESF rankings. Simon has been playing more PSA than ESF junior events so his ranking has suffered. It is time for these big summer events to adopt the same policy as the British Junior Open and reserach the players. It it is bad for everyone to draw in top Egyptian, and Malaysian players because they have not played in Europe or just played in the BJO. It is terrible that Camille and Wee Wern played in the round of 16. There are very good examples of these flaws in all draws. I expect you will see more of the same at the Dutch Junior Open. |
