Transition from Juniors to SeniorsJanuary 23 2007 at 4:14 PM | THE MAN! (no login) |
| - Hi im 15 and play squash. I live in Oxford.
Do you think that alot of juniors will make it as a good pro player?
Some players have already gone pro like Joe Lee and James Snell and Alex Ingham just to name a few. Im sure more are going pro next year!
How hard isit to get pro because I want to!
How much did Peter Nicol make per year coz he was the best?
Thanks everyone |

success in juniors doesn't neccessarily mean success in seniors. on psa match there are no easy matches. also being pro usually requires 2 sessions a day. |

Players like James Wilstrop and as an overseas player Ramy (very recently) and also Jon Brown have all found the transition smooth.
You will be a great pro one day young oxford squash player. Lets hope you will be as good as me, Luke Butterworth (full time coach to Dumbo the elephant and Pinochio). |

I can officially confirm after a long conversation with Jon about his future, his toes will be going full time! After much speculation in a recent forum post about this rumour.....well fans of full-time-brown, his toes will be making a comeback, along with his Wilson apparell. Jon will be renewing his sponsorship tearms with utterly butterly, with the help of utterly butterly front man and a personal friend of mine luke butterworth. Also from the help of Chris Rustling, I have confirmed a three year deal with British Sugar so Jon's pancreas will have to work that little harder during homeostasis to secrete enough insulin! It will be tough times training for Jon with all that 3/4 court for sure!
Thanks to all Jons loyal fans for sending him fan mail during his depressing time after getting reject from the British Open.
Cheers, Jon will be seeing u all very soon.
Regards, his agent.
