And the following you stated is why I share what I do concerning this issue.

And yes, as I see it those that were following Jesus disobeyed the OT Sabbath several times, even though this was before the cross took place. Because Jesus our communication with Jesus Christ is the NT Sabbath Day. And if I did not believe that, I have to say I would be obeying the OT Sabbath day.

It isn't that I am saying those that keep the Sabbath as you and others do are not worshipping and praying everyday either at all. It is simply my way of sharing what I believe the Sabbath or 7th Day is under Christ. Is to labour to begin to walk in His kingdom of rest, allowing Him to do the works of righteousness rather than ourselves, once we have fully begun in Him.

It isn't that I am saying we have to do nothing either. We do. We labour to come into that rest everyday by praying and asking Him to take over our day, also to pour out His love, filling us up to overflowing within us to burn up any flesh that might be undesirable before Him as well. Because that love within will begin to burn up that flesh as it overflows outwardly. Then God is sanctifying every day.

But I would certaily be interested in looking at that scripture your talking about concerning God sanctifying Saturday only after the cross Gerard. Because that is when the church age started I believe. Even though Jesus I believe Jesus and His disciples did break the Sabbath Day before the cross.

What I see you doing, IMHO is setting aside a day to fellowship with the brethren, whether it be done on Sunday, Saturday, Wednesday or any other day.

luv ya,
Sandy

Wherefore the rather, brethren give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. (2nd Pet. 1:10)
