Response to God Speaks to us, by His Great Power we're led...
Lee Said>>"
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
the power has been given so what is that power....written word or the Holy Spirit or the WORD came in the flesh?Or D. all of the above"
Lee, I see this as speaking of the power to become a son of God... I don't see it as relating to how God speaks to us today.
LEE>>"careful now......Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:"
And, so it shall... what do you think about this? In your opinion, Has it already come to pass?? Has God actually poured out His Spirit on the all flesh? I see this as a yet future happening. I could be wrong, but how many do you see nowdays
acting like they have God's Holy Spirit poured out on them?
LEE>>Quoting "Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
Does my message seem to be judging anyone? Just curious... I hear a lot about judging on these forums and this verse seems to crop up a lot... I come here to post what I believe, what I think and what I feel. I guess that sometimes when people read what I post they may feel as if they are being judged. I don't know. If a person holds an opinion that is contrary to someone else's. then there had to be some 'judging' or, 'decision making' going on in the mind of those people to cause them to have the opinion they hold. I think that most people judge themselves as being correct. I rarely meet anyone who believes that their opinions or conclusions are wrong.
I find it interesting that BOTH can't be right, so, if I 'judge myself' to be right, then that automatically judges others to be wrong. And, if others judge themselves to be right, the same thing happens in the other direction. Right? Well, If others want to feel judged or anything else, I can't prevent it, but that is not my goal.. besides, I'm one of those nuts that thinks the Bible actually means it when it says, "1Co 6:2
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
I'm really glad you seem secure enough in your faith to not feel threatened by someone's judgement. Anyway, as I said, I hear a lot about judging and frankly it's not a subject I like to entertain or participate in.. It just seems to drag everyone and every comment off topic and reduce all communications to a hodgepodge of ill will... I don't think I'll communicate on judgement unless it relates to God's Judgement... after all, HE is the ultimate judge.

Again, I don't think that judging, per se' is related to the topic.. Also, I could be wrong...??
LEE>>Quoting "
Mat 12:20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
To me, this is one of those deep verses...
This one doesn't seem to tell me anything about the subject... again, I'm tired and not as sharp as I need to be.
