I agree and I disagree

OK here is what I want to look at....You're saying...

Since God is the lawgiver, He is not under any law, but is above His own enactments. Therefore, when God does what would be sin in man, it is no longer sin. Look at the example found in the book of Deuteronomy, where God says He "kills" (De. 32:39). When man kills it is a grievous sin.

I agree God is the LAWGIVER but you only need laws in order to have an established standard to distinguish right from wrong. Why did He give us laws? Because we sin and God is then able to demonstrate to man why he NEEDS a Redeemer. God does not sin. When He takes a life or kills as you say, it is not murder. It is the consequence of sin.

For example in Gen 9:6 it says


Gen 9:6
6 "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
(NIV)

Here God is giving MAN permission to take the life of someone who has wilfully MURDERED another person. The difference between what God is giving man permission to do and what the murderer did is that one is LAWFULLY KILLING and the other is MURDER. If lawfully killing was wrong then there would be logically more murders and murderers living freely in existence. This is why God ALLOWS wars in order to timely purge out evil.


Matt 24:6
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. (NIV)

I know that you think that people are in SEARCH for Christ lee but to be honest there are some that Christ has found. Logically thinking, we can't ALL just be searching forever, eventually Christ will REVEAL Himself to those who are His.

John 1:12
12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- (NIV)

If you are SEARCHING for Christ then just come to Him and receive Him, BUT it must be done HIS WAY and not yours.
