Response to Re: A Crown? What for?

Hello Phil:

I think that "Crown" here, is simply a metaphre for the ultimate heart's desire. The use of the specific word "crown", is probably because the desire of a true Jew's heart, is the resurrection of the kingdom of covenant Israel.

What do you think?

Hello Abraham,
How are you? Good to see you here.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Well, let's see... what do I think? Well, I'm one of those who think there is a literal CROWN to be involved in the process. I can see how others might view it as merely metaphorically, but... there seems to be other scriptures that mention kings... and kings always have crowns... So, as a Christian, I look for a literal crown...

Appreciate your participation,

Phil
