66 Crowns in the KJV

But several different sorts--there is the crown of the head--the regular old earthly king's crown--the 'chaplet of dedication' which denotes the dedicated vow of the Nazarite--there is also the chaplet which is like a 'scattering around'--a queenly crown is a kether (a royal diadem--10 jewels)--and the priestly service in the temple equipped the Levite with a Mitre which was also a crown.

And in the NT--the crown is a stephanos--a greek chaplet, often of laurel leaves if not of Gold:

This is the crown of a conquerer! This is the crown of Victory!

It is not a gimme, though--just 'showing up' at the finish line does not earn one a crown by default.

The race is run with the various crowns--scattering and service and dedication and vows.

And when the priest/king/queen conquerer in His Name receives the final crown, the work is only truly getting underway!

Service and truth--love and dedication--to our brotherman...

This is how we manifest our Love for our KING--by serving those He loves! Anyone you speak to, meet on the street, see at the store, etc--all souls you see are those that He loves.

The kingdom is a service oriented enterprise! \o/
