Abe says, "It is the covenant nation of Israel which will be raised from the dead, and it will not be made up of people who are raised from the dead, it will be made up of all the living people who have the spirit of covenant Israel in their hearts, who at the instant of resurrection, will all be changed in the twinkling of an eye, into literal covenant Israel, resurrected from the dead. "
I've encountered several different beliefs about those who will be "raised from the dead", but never one that says they "will not be made up of people who are raised from the dead". To me, that makes no sense. But then, not much of what I find on the Net makes much sense either. Oh well.
Funny... the Bible never mentions, "the spirit of covenant Israel". I fear, that too, is another invented phrase that men use to describe their own ideas. The bible says that those who are raised in the First Resurrection will have the Spirit of God.. not some 'spirit of Covenant Israel'.
And, when they are raised, they WILL BE changed... not into some physical group of people, but into literal spirit beings, made like God Himself... Immortal, indestructable and Eternal.
Resurrected from the dead, means just that! Brought back to LIFE from the DEAD.
What do I think? I think I'll let God be true...
